Gods' Provision - His Protection

bulletPsalm 91:1-2 'He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.'

bulletEternal security as long as we walk in the presence of God, when we make our abiding place in Jesus.

bulletJohn 15:5 'I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit.'

bulletTo abide is to live; if we live in Christ. How do we live in Christ? By reading His word, fellowshipping with Him on a regular basis, forsaking not the gathering of ourselves with fellow Christians to worship Him. We live in Christ by our praise and worship. Can you truly say He is my refuge and fortress; can we truly say my God in whom I trust? Can you truly call Him my God? Living in Christ is Gods divine provision, His protection and everything else we need or desire. I'm reminded of a song that states, In His presence is Joy, In His presence is Love, In His presence is peace, etc...

bulletActs 17:28 'In Him we live and move and have our being.'

bulletImagine receiving a large box with a giant red bow- In your excitment you tear open the box and inside you see many small boxes. As you pull them out one by one you notice they are all labeled. One says peace, another labeled joy, another safety, another health, and there is one labeled wealth and prosperity. Then you notice there is a large bold letters on the larger box, it reads....JESUS.

bulletIt is Jesus that we have protection, health, etc. If we live in the presence of the Almighty we can have it all. All that God has, He wants to give us. All He asks is for our commitment to Him. Living in Gods presence reveals Christ to us. It is a necessity to keep our minds, our lives in Gods presence daily.

bulletIsaiah 26:3 'You will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

bulletThis is Gods divine provision for us.

bulletIsaiah 26:4 'Trust in the Lord, the Lord is Rock Eternal.'
